Bielong

I heard that Bielong failed to make the show at Fayette county Sunday and got in with a provisional. Curious if anyone knows what happened, was the car not running right?

There were plenty of fast cars there. I don't think anyone got provisionals. They were originally only going to take the top 2 from each semi, but since there was such a good turnout, Charlie took the top 4 from each semi and start 24 cars in the feature.

I figured something had to have gone wrong for him to be in a bmain barely making the feature. Did see alot of good cars in the pics though.

Six cars started the 2nd consi...
Consi 1
1. 28 Michael Bolyard
2. 1A Aaron Draege
3. 70 Brian Bielong
4. 1 Tim Hancock
5. E55 Chad Sellers
6. 25 Brent Keyes
7. 56 Jake Draege
8. 11M Michael Rauch

Consi 2
1. N59 Chad Evans
2. 808 Kelby Simmons
3. 5L Wes Leigh
4. 4UW Bobby Regot
5. 12S Michael Stuckey
6. 808X Bob Simmons
7. DNS 89 Norm Wood
8. DNS 88 Dave Wheatley

They increased the size of the starting field from 20 to 24...so 4 more cars got paid. Isn't that a good thing???

Sounds like a good thing to me.
How many times have we heard tracks that have ADDED cars to the feature because they had a good turnout.

KUDOS to Fayette County!!!!

My question was why did they take only the top 4 of the 1st consi? They should of took the top 2 of both consi's! Don't get me wrong i am glad they added 4 spots, just don't make sense to me.

ok let me see if i can clear this up for you since you obviously have no clue what you are talking about....when there is a turnout like fayette co had sunday night they always try to make the a-main a 24 car starting field.now if they would have only taken the top 2 now that would have gave them only 22 cars in the a-main......do they always do this no and its normally because they dont have the turnout that they had sunday night. it really sounds to me that you are more unhappy that bielong and hancock made the a-main! so if thats the point your trying to get at just say so.

Yes, he struggled with the car all night!! They worked on it non-stop through the evening. They did have alot of fast cars there and I am sure if they would not have struggled with the car he would have made the show without the extra spots.
