(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Billy Moyer continued his stellar 2010 season by conquering the prestigious 'World 100' at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio over the September 10-11 weekend! The win marked Billy's twenty-first victory of the season and his record sixth 'World 100' triumph. The driver known affectionately as "Mr. Smooth" to fans across the country pulled off the lucrative Eldora Dream/World 100 sweep, as he also emerged victorious in the $100,000 to win 'Dream XVI' back in June.

Billy's weekend started off by posting the forty-ninth fastest lap of the 134 entrants during qualifying at the "Big E" on Friday night. The Batesville, Arkansas native then advanced up to fourth in his stacked heat race on Saturday evening before claiming the second transfer spot through his B-Main. After rolling off twenty-third on the grid in the 40th Annual 'World 100,' Billy primarily utilized the bottom groove of the 1/2-mile, high-banked venue to electrify a huge crowd.

He quickly moved up to the second spot by lap fifty-one and set his sights on race leader Dale McDowell. Billy was able to dispose of McDowell for the point on the sixty-sixth circuit and led the remainder of the 100-lapper. He crossed underneath the checkers ahead of Scott Bloomquist, Dale McDowell, Don O'Neal, and Jimmy Owens to record the $43,000 payday and his sixth globe trophy. Complete results from the hallowed Eldora Speedway can be found online at www.eldoraspeedway.com.

"Starting that far back, we changed the car around to run the bottom groove and it paid off for us," exclaimed the 1991, 1993, 1994, 1998, 2000, and 2010 winner of our industry's biggest race. "There was no conserving anything starting as far back as we did and luckily we nailed the setup and our car was really hooked up on the bottom of the racetrack. Usually the groove isn't around the bottom like that at Eldora, but with all of the rain during the afternoon and our setup we put on the car, it was the line I needed to run. I just have to thank my entire family, crew, sponsors, and fans for all of their support. This has been an awesome season for Billy Moyer Racing and hopefully we aren't done yet!"

The Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team is TENTATIVELY scheduled to return to Dirt Late Model competition this upcoming weekend (September 17-18) at the Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois and the I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri. However, Billy's participation in these shows is not set in stone and his weekend schedule is still very much up in the air.
