POWAY, Calif. (May 7) – IMCA drivers competing with Bilstein-made shocks vie for awards from the Poway, Calif. manufac¬turer again in 2010.

Post-season contingencies will be given based on regional Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock standings, and on national standings for both the Karl Chevrolet Northern and Southwest Racing Specialties Southern SportMod divisions.

Top eligible drivers in each of the five IMCA Modified and both IMCA Sunoco Stock Car divisions receive $350 prod¬uct certificates, with $250 for second and $200 for third.

The top three in each of the two IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock regions and in national Northern Sport¬Mod and Southern SportMod points earn product certificates valued at $300, $200 and $100, respectively.

Drivers in all five classes must also display two Bilstein decals on their race car and return a sign-up form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1.

Information about Bilstein shocks is available by call¬ing 800 537-1085 and at the www.bilstein.com website.
"Bilstein shocks are prevalent and extremely competitive in IMCA competition, as evidenced by 11 of the 16 cars finishing in the top four in last year's Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and SportMod Super Nationals main events competing with them,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “Bilstein drivers should register to be eligible for their awards in 2010."
