Bluegrass Speedway To Honor 2003 Track Champions on November 16

Bardstown, KY-November 6, 2003- The 2003 racing season has been completed and Bluegrass Speedway track promoters David and Anita Ferrell and family are set to honor the best at Bluegrass in 2003 with the annual Championship Awards Banquet at the Samuels Hall located at the Nelson County Fairgrounds on Sunday, November 16.



The Championship Banquet will begin at 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon with a meal, followed the awards ceremony for drivers in the Hoosier Tire Late Model, Hoosier Tire Modified, Sportsman, and Street Stock divisions, which will follow the meal and some opening comments and remarks. The top ten drivers earning the most points in each division will be recognized, with the top six drivers in each of the four weekly divisions earning money and trophy awards for their accomplishments during the 2003 racing campaign at Bluegrass Speedway. The top three rookies in the Hoosier Tire Late Model and Hoosier Tire Modified division will also be honored with the top Late Model rookie earning the Brahm Trucking/Joe Porter Enterprises Rookie of the Year award, with the top Modified rookie earning the Joe Porter Enterprises/Paula’s Performance Rookie of the Year award. There will also be awards for the top six finishers in the AMS Race Engines Late Model Quick Six program as well.
