(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) The Kinzer Motorsports team traveled south to the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama on October 5-6 for a pair of Dirt Late Model events that accompanied the Sprint Cup weekend across the road at the Talladega Superspeedway. On Friday night, Brandon Kinzer started his weekend by posting a tenth place effort in the $2,000 to win unsanctioned feature event. The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) rolled into TST on Saturday evening to sanction a $3,500 to win showdown. BK laid down the third quickest lap during qualifying and later moved up to second in the 40-lapper to finish a close runner-up behind only victor Randy Weaver. Brandon and his #18 team are scheduled to take the October 12-13 weekend off from racing action, but will return to competition the following Friday night, October 19.
