March 17, 2010 - Promoter Tim Keithley has announced that the Super Late Models will be UMP sanctioned for 2010. The Super Late Models will follow Brownstown rules, but are eligible for UMP local and national points. Opening night will be TOMORROW March 20th
TIRES:
Hoosier LM20, LM40, D20/1300, D21/1350 or D55/1600 (NOT the STAR-55 tire).
American Racer 44, 48, or 56.
Compound softeners are not permitted. Any "SUSPICIOUS" tires can be retained and analyzed by the promoter for inspection.
MAXIMUM circumference permitted is ninety-three inches. MAXIMUM cross-section width permitted is sixteen and three-quarters inch. MAXIMUM circumference grooving, permitted is eleven inches. Hoops for inspection MUST pass over tire freely. NO buffing off the size or lettering on tires.
Note: ILMS Late Models with GM 602 or 604 engines may use the ILMS spec tire - Hoosier LSB-D21 or LSB-D55.
