Harrah's C.A.R.S. Crate Late Model Feature Event
Brent Burnett was on the point with Tanner English running in second and Jeff Walston in third. Tanner English took the lead on the second lap. Walston took over the lead from English on lap three, that same time Adam Ray looped his car around in turn four. On the restart Walston shot out into a big lead over English with Burnett in the third spot. The field spread out by lap eight with the top three beight a full turn away from each other. Ricky Gilbert made an impressive charge through the field after nearly wrecking the car on the first lap moving into third by the white flag. No one in the field had anything for Jeff Walston after taking the lead, he was able to notch out another win and extending his points lead for the 2006 season at PIR.
