C.A.R.S. WRS at Tri-City Speedway this Sunday

Du Quoin, IL--The C.A.R.S. Weekly Racing Series will make its first ever appearance at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL, this Sunday, April 23. This will be the first of many C.A.R.S. WRS events at Tri-City Speedway in 2006, including the Inaugural C.A.R.S. WRS Fall Nationals on October 19-21. Valuable points towards the C.A.R.S. WRS Championship will be up for grabs at Tri-City Speedway and a large number of teams are expected to be on hand. We look forward to seeing everyone this Sunday at the famous Tri-City Speedway.

Directions: Tri-City Speedway is located just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, MO in Pontoon Beach, IL. Take exit 4 off I-270 and go 1/2 mile south on SR 203. Camping is allowed at Tri-City Speedway, however, there are no hookups.

CARS Bonus for Tri-City 04/23/06


CARS santioning body is offering the following bonus for this Sunday at Tri-City.

Two names (racers) will be drawn prior to the heat races. Each will receive a $50 cash bonus. If either racer wins a heat race they will receive an additional $50. If either wins the feature they will receive another $100.

Therefore, if your name is drawn you automatically win $50 but can win as much as $200 total. The cash will be awarded the following weekend at the racers repective home track.
