Tri-City Speedway introduced the 6th Row Double Down Challenge last Friday, April 2nd.
The driver winning the dash has the option to start 6th row outside in the main event. If he
chooses the Double Down and wins the Feature he doubles his winnings and can take home $2400 dollars.
Late Model driver Craig Smith won the dash and with the crowd cheering him on took the
Challenge. He was scheduled to start 6th row outside (12th) of the main event when rains came at 9:00. This week the make-up Feature for the Late Models will be ran first. If Craig can win he will take home $2400 for the first feature and then run the $1200 to win regular scheduled weekly program. He could possibly win $3600 dollars.
Modifieds will be up for the 6th Row Double Down Challenge this week April 9th.
Will a modified driver take the Challenge? If so, Who?
