Edinburgh, Indiana (08/08/12) – Chad Stapleton powered his #32 Rightway Construction/Skeletor Core/Rocket/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model to his seventh win of 2012 on Friday night with a win at Moler Raceway Park.
It was another solid weekend for Chad as he went into battle in a pair of Weekly Racing Series Events. On Friday night the action opened at Moler Raceway Park (Williamsburg, Ohio) as thirteen cars registered for battle. Heat race action found Chad advancing to a second place finish, which locked him into the third starting spot for the main event. In the feature he would battle his way to the front to claim the win, which came over Barry Doss, Chad Smith, John Rhoades, and Roger Ruark. The victory was his seventh of the 2012 campaign! On Saturday night the team traveled to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for a tune-up event for the upcoming North/South 100. Twenty-seven Super Late Models were on hand for the program, and in heat race action Chad would see mechanical woes relegate him to an eighth place finish. As a result he started deep in the grid of the b-main before advancing to a second place finish to earn a starting spot in the feature.
