Chris Moore Claims $2,000 Win in 20th Annual Ice Bowl

Coldwater, Mississippi (01/11/11) – Chris Moore overcame a field of stout competition and freezing temperatures to claim his second straight Ice Bowl Championship over the weekend in his #17 Lindsey Motorsports/Shaw By C Moore/FLR Racing Engine Open Wheel Modified.
Chris Moore opened his 2011 campaign over the weekend at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) in the 20th Annual Ice Bowl. In heat race action on Saturday, Moore claimed the win to earn the outside front row starting spot alongside Randall Sweeney for Sunday's $2,000 to win feature. For the first half of the event, Moore pursued Sweeney for the lead before taking over the top spot with nine laps remaining in the event. Chris would go on to claim the win over Sweeney, which his second straight in the prestigious event.
The team is currently compiling the balance of their schedule for the 2011 campaign, and it will soon be posted on the team website. A more aggressive, widespread scheduling is being compiled including big paying events throughout the Southeast and Midwest as well as the SMP Series Speedweeks.
