Clarksville, Tennessee; Mother Nature was not kind in allowing the racing program to be completed at the Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee on Saturday Night April 29, 2006 so officials were forced to cancel the entire show and re-schedule the Demolition Derby along with action in all other supporting racing divisions to this Saturday May 6, 2006.
This Saturday May 6 will feature the Crashing and Smashing of the ever-popular Demolition Derby along with a complete racing show of UMP Super Late Models, UMP Open Wheel Modifieds, Crate Late Models, Mini Mods, Outlaw Mini Sprints, Pro Streets, Pure Mini Stock, and Street Stock divisions.
Tony Albright of Clarksville, Tennessee sits high atop the points standings for the UMP Super Late Models and the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series Crate Late Model Division. Albright leads Steven Ashby of Cunningham, Tennessee in the Crate Points chase after the April 22 race program. Albright also leads Rusty Griffaw and Bryan Singleton in the UMP Super Late Model points. David Flowers leads Anthony Garber in the UMP Open Wheel Modified track points with Stephen Schnapf leading Ed Mummert in the Outlaw Mini Sprints division. Michael Neighbors leads the Street Stock points with Jeff Joiner currently holding down the second spot. Mini Mod points are being held down by Micah Smith over Kyle Fleming. Pro Street point standings are being held down by Charles Zimmerman over Joeseph Hamm and Michael Rittenberry holds the top spot in the Pure Mini Stock points over Timothy Hunter.
The Main Gates will open this Saturday at 4:00 p.m. with Hot Lapping slated for 5:30 p.m. on the Dirt Track. Adult Grandstand admission is only $14.00 and Pit Passes are $25.00.
