Made the trip up the interstate into Illinois for the second day in a row, to Clay County this afternoon because it looked like Mother Nature might hold off long enough to get the show in. They got all the heats in, had intermission, and got to a few laps past halfway in the first feature before rains sat in for the night. Modified Top 5 unofficially was Zach Fair, Will Krup, Larry Anderson, Brian Shaw and Everett Bradham. Thanks to the track for rushing the show along and getting as far as they did. Could've scraped intermission and got another feature or two in but it's all good. About 85 total cars.
