Kevin, you threw the 18 entries in there, does this mean it is not a gurantee 750 to win? Whats up with the 20 entry fee to you? Why not just say 80 to start instead of 100? Waiting your answer thanks

car count = purse
need more than the 7-8 get me CLOSE to 18 thats all i ask,
I really think this will be a good year for crates!

Tom it is not the low car count that is making me do the $20 entry fee, it is the entry fee that allows me to do the 750 to win 100 to start, like I said several said to pay 500 to win and 50 to start, but I think I can do better than that.........there also are 8 dates that are available yet this year if things go well for the crates in 2013. Just trying to keep things positive for all involved.
Give it a chance!
Kevin

Clay County Speedway is out to make racing fun and family oriented. We as a crew have decided to postpone opening night, due to the predicted evening temperatures and pending weather conditions late Saturday and early Sunday morning.
Stay tuned for next weeks updates.
HOWEVER WE WILL BE AT THE TRACK FOR
OPEN PRACTICE THIS SATURDAY 2-5 ISH!
THIS WOULD BE A GREAT TIME TO COMPLETE UMP AND
TRACK LICENSE INFORMATION.
KEVIN

Great!!

[
Best new yet , are we runnin crates next weekend???? My son said hes got an extra 20 he is mad at LOL !!! Thats supposed to be funny guys and gals ,,,, Laugh??

If you get less than 10 cars in any support class, there is no good reason to run a Feature. I saw 3 Crates and 5 Street Stocks a lot of nights last year, let's hope for better things this year. Kevin is doing the best he can,so let's show some support this year!..:)

well thats your opinion but its like payin for practice, I do see the point and when the car count is low we all make the same payout Kevin has been very fair with that. also if we run a feature last or just 10 laps its good for us . we pay for track time if nothing else but if our car count is up we dont want to run last and the crates can put on a good show. kevin is attempting to work with us so all we can hope is we pull some cars this year. It would not be right to have the fans watch 4 or 5 cars run a 18 lap feature as the first couple classes out for a feature. I do understand that too. But let that feature be our decision. If the pay is the same across the board and we run last its really just braggin rights anyway. and really what do any of us run for ??? THE TROPHY!!! LOL though is is hard to fit that in a fuel tank of a tow rig and Steak N Shake wont take 1 either HA!

My point was tire wear and laps on the engine, for the folks that don't have a huge budget and/or a major sponsor..I was saying, just pay them the Feature money as they finish the Heat race...;)

Huge Budget / major sponsor You really dont know us do ya LOl I do get the point and you are correct. But practice after the sprints smooth things out and it slicks off really helps us low budget guys . regular scheduled practice doesnt really help on a afternoon the track is not near the same till after a nights racing either. smaller trophys???
