The second of three practice days for the 2004 Central Missouri Speedway has been called off. Persistent rain made it impossible to get the pits and track in shape for drivers and crews to maneuver around. "We really waited as long as we could to call this off, but there's just no way to get it in today," commented Susan Walls when reached by phone.
The final practice before the kickoff to the 2004 season will take place under the lights next Saturday, April 17, with gates opening at 5:30 pm and cars taking to the track at 7:30 pm.
