Congratulations to Cathy & Mike on the birth of your adorable baby boy, Evan Michael Bess, born Dec. 12, 2011 at 5:18 a.m., weighing 7 lbs, 12 oz. and measuring 21 inches long. He has red hair and is absolutely beautiful!!!

Grandma & Grandpa Cummins and Uncle Jimmy are very proud of you both and wish you and little Evan the very best. He may have been almost 2 weeks early, but he is perfect! It was a very long night, but he was well worth the wait! So happy for us all!!!

that is a picture of me scared to death not knowing what to do...... Evan is way to tiny for me to be holding him i think......
 
OMG, they had one with them, but we're new at this and went with the hospital issued ones for today. I'm so tired I can hardly close my eyes. I think they're stuck open. Grandpa Bruce of course slept while I played with photos and postings on the internet. I had more fun!

Jimmy did just fine holding him. He's so proud to be his Uncle.

Uncle Jimmy looks like he's made for the role and ready to start reading Speedway Illustrated to him. You can't read to them early enough and he'll love Joyce's column.
 
Yes another Ginger to help the dying breed! Congratulations to all! Jimmy, just think of it as a BEER 30, I know you wouldn't drop one of them.
 
Jimmy is doing really well in his new UNCLE roll. He's seen Evan everyday of his little life so far!

They're coming home today (Wednesday) and Grandma gets to go "help" tomorrow! He's so adorable! Chatcat19 and Big Trucker are wonderful parents!!! I'm so proud of them!
