(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) With the rain-out at the Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg last Friday night, the Conley Motorsports, Inc. teams competed in only one event last weekend, which came on Saturday evening, July 28 at the Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. R.J. Conley won the dash to earn the pole position for the $2,000 to win main event and later placed third in the A-Main behind only winner Eddie Carrier, Jr. and runner-up Josh McGuire. Delmas Conley laid down the fastest time during qualifying, ran fourth in the dash, and later wound up sixth in the final rundown of the feature event. All three Conley’s will return to dirt-slinging action this upcoming weekend (August 3-4), as they attack three different Buckeye State facilities. Delmas and R.J. are both scheduled to enter a pair a $2,000 to win shows at the Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio on Friday and the Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday. Rod is slated to take his #71r entry to the Jackson County Speedway in Jackson, Ohio on Friday for ADRA Twin 25s, which pay $1,500 each to the winner. “Hot Rod” will then join his father and brother at PRP on Saturday for the weekly program.
