I also heard from a very good source that Ed will not be there this weekend and also Justin Allgaire won't be there either. Looks like the LM count could be low this week at pevely. :(
 
Justin doesn't race there evey weekend anyway.... Besides you never know who may show up !!!!! I BET we will see Good LM racing either way!!!!
And Good Luck to Dixon where ever he races WITH his Crew chief....
 
I heard Dan is back in from a very good source . Justin is most likely letting things cool off seing he either hit or cut off every car near him .

Actually Justin is taking a few days off for vacation after racing nearly every day for the last month and a half...and I saw alot of cars hitting and cutting each other off on Saturday...not just Justin.
 
I heard straight from the horses mouth that Justin is spending the weekend with his other half...yes there was alot of hitting and cutting each other off but I thought the track wasn' it's best and the calls weren't the best. I hope Ed and Danny are at Pevely Saturday they help make the show more interesting.
 
Hitting and cutting has nothing to do with the track. Some of the cars were just driving over their heads. Superb comp was in the house Sat and looked like some just didn't like were they were running. :rolleyes: J/M/O
And I do believe that it will be interesting Sat. reguardless who does not show up!!! :rolleyes:

I can tell you weather or not dan is kicked out ed will be back because of his obligation to bloomsdale and tom drurry so ed will be there and i am betting he had enough pull to get danny back in also.

That or maybe they talked it out like adults and reviewed the whole issue. Maybe Danny was not at fault. Maybe the official made a bad call that could be reveresed. Maybe someone had video. Maybe Maybe Maybe :D Allied and I-55 have re-tracked before if they thought they were wrong as well as other tracks I have seen from time to time.... As for the pull line.... :rolleyes: If they did I would not be posting it on here and I could be wrong but pretty sure they would not like it put that way either. Makes it look hokey if you know what I mean.... :rolleyes:
 
Justin is not racing this weekend due to other commitments.

Danny is Ed's Crew Chief and without him Ed definitely may not show this Saturday but I doubt if it goes further than that unless other problems arise. If Ed is a "no-show", I sincerely hope this doesn't affect his I-55 schedule beyond this weekend. Ed's good for I-55 and I believe I-55 has been good to Ed. "Stuff" just happens. I just hope that same "stuff" doesn't happen again.

As far a car count goes, the weekly average for the season for late models is right at 18-19 cars. I definitely think we'll have at least that many and probably more now that the Summer Nationals are over. I'd be real surprised if Matt Taylor didn't show and I'm sure Brian Shirley is thinking the track owes him one. Personally, I wouldn't bet the under.

But no matter where you go, good luck and safe trip to all!

unfortunately I doubt Shirley is back this weekend due to NALMS events at Danville and Kamp. He is the point leader in that series.
 
I have it from a good source that Ed will post on his website as to where he will be racing Saturday....this will give us the answer on Danny. I also know if Ed doesn't show on Saturday it will be a one time deal.......after all Danny is Ed's crew chief.

Yes stuff happens....however, when do put a stop to those who play outside their roles. Specially when there is no love lost between the Kliens and the Dixon's which is ironic when Bloomsdales sponors both drivers.
 
What did D. Dixon do "supposedly"? There is two replies on here by officials, glk98 & wheelman1??? Could you guys shed some light on this? Its been said what the flagman did! I know one thing, if I were Don Klein I would fire his boys, they make the Klein name look bad. He needs to follow Billy's advice and get control of his boys.
 
With all the one post wonders floating around out there, I think it wouldn't be appropriate for such matters to be handled on a message board.

Allied's super secret meeting is tonight in Belleville, should be something coming down the pike later on.

I truly believe that if a person is driving in a RACE no one in the judge stand or on the flag crew should be allowed to be make disicions in that race if they are related to a driver in that class of cars! That would make it fair for all! But it is happening at more and more tracks! The fairest track that I have seen for officating is Lebanon I-44!
