(RURAL RETREAT, VIRGINIA) The B&B Motorsports team was back on the Ultimate Super Late Model Series trail on May 25-26 in the Volunteer State of Tennessee. A pair of $4,000 to win showdowns were on the line on Friday night at the 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tennessee and on Saturday evening at the Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee. At 411 on Friday, Daniel Baggerly laid down the eighth quickest lap during the qualifying session, which locked him into the outside of the fourth row for the 40-lapper. "Bagz" was later credited with a respectable twelfth place performance following the completion of the A-Main despite suffering a flat tire.

On Saturday at Smoky Mountain, the #16 team was looking for another solid point night on the Ultimate tour. Daniel qualified twenty-ninth fastest during time trials, did not transfer through his consolation race, and was later awarded a series provisional to gain access into the 40-lap main event. The Rural Retreat, Virginia native took full advantage of that provisional, as he moved up ten spots to salvage a thirteenth place effort. Daniel currently finds himself second in the latest Ultimate Super Late Model Series point standings following the busy month of May. Full results from the Memorial Day holiday weekend can be accessed online at www.ultimatesupers.com.

Next up for the B&B Motorsports team will be a “home game” so to speak, as the Ultimate Super Late Model Series will invade the nearby Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia on Saturday, June 2. The 40-lap main event at Fred and Susan Brown’s facility will pay $4,000 to the winner. Daniel cut his teeth at the 1/2-mile oval and will look for a strong run on Saturday to bolster his point standing on the Ultimate tour.
