Daum wins with last lap pass for the win. Way to go Daum and crew.
 
That is great stuff! They will have to add an addition to the Welcome to Pocahontas sign in my old hometown, move over Gretchen!

I'll never forget a few years ago at the track I announce at out here near KC, we had a special midget show and when they handed me the drivers' roster I saw my hometown listed and about fell over, way to go Zach and crew, good luck out there, you guys have come a long way!
 
Zach did an outstanding job all night. He came from last in his heat to finish 2nd and from 6th to 2nd in his qualifier. In the main he did a great job moving from the bottom to the top to get through the lapped traffic and didn't loose his cool when he was pressured by Pickens.
It was awesome to see the POWRI guys sweep the night (Loyet in Race of Champions and Daum in A Main)
Good job also to Dave Camfield, Joey Moughan, Andrew Felker, and Kellen Connover for making the A Main in a tough field.
Can't wait for tonight.

Concratulations on making the A-main. It to can can be won. All they have is a steering wheel and 4 tires just like you, so you can do it.

2010 is beginning on a high note....first the USAC Rookie-of-the-Year, now a great start to the Chili Bowl...........who knows what's next!

congrats to you zach and to the rest of the guys from stlouis and southern illinois area to prove to the rest of the world that the midwest have some of the best drivers in the business. keep up the good work. you make us proud. big paul
