Dee & Sutton Earn Top Honors at Driver's Seat Buggy Nationals

BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- (June 18, 2005) Oak Street Racing teammates Todd Dee of Leadwood and Jeremy Sutton of Park Hills captured both first place and then won their respective top eliminator races Saturday night at Big River Sand In the Stock Buggy class, Sutton defeated second place winner Willie "The Thurmanator" Thurman of Desloge in the top eliminator race. Adam Smith of Fredericktown settled for third place. Sutton even survived a protest that forced Drags during the inaugural Driver's Seat Buggy Nationals.
In the Off Road Modified class, Dee defeated Kevin "Grape Ape" Sellers of Arnold in the top eliminator race. Sellers had finished second in the class with Rob Tourville of St. Ann taking third place.

The event featured a total of 20 buggies and brought in the biggest crowd of the season.

In the other classes that raced Saturday, Brad Lunn of Pacific was the top eliminator and first place winner in the Competition Eliminator class. Fourteen-year-old William Sutton of Des Arc settled for second place.

In Vehicle ET, Stephanie Lunn of Pacific was the first place winner with second place winner Philip Beaird of St. Louis winning the top eliminator race.

In Super Pro ATV, Ed Bunch of Hillsboro snapped a long winless streak and captured not only first place but top eliminator honors as well. Erica Camden of Bonne Terre was second.

In Pro ATV, Eddie Gillam of Belgrade was the first place and top eliminator winner while Josh Jenkins of Caledonia settled for second place.

In ATV-1, Allie Glatczak of Potosi was the top eliminator and first place winner with Lindsey Hayes of Pilot Knob taking second place.

In Junior ATV, Whitney Dee of Leadwood was the top eliminator and first place winner while Garth Farris of Potosi was second.
