(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Dennis Erb Racing took advantage of an idle weekend on the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series schedule to stay close to home and enter a pair of weekly Super Late Model races at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois and Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois on August 9-10. On Friday night in a $1,000 to win battle at FCR, Dennis Erb, Jr. qualified well and won his heat race in preliminary action before leading several laps in the headliner. The Carpentersville, Illinois ace eventually slipped back to third by the time the checkered flag waved to finish behind only victor Mike Spatola and runner-up Allen Weisser.

At FALS on Saturday evening, a weekly 'FALS Cup' program was held and a strong field of competitors were in attendance to vie for the $2,500 top prize. Dennis earned Fast Time honors during the qualifying session and later picked up the victory in his heat race. After leading much of the 30-lap contest from the pole position, Dennis settled for a strong runner-up effort behind only race winner Mike Spatola. Complete results from both weekend tilts can be viewed by clicking on www.farmercityracing.com and www.fairburyspeedway.com.
