Someone help me remember.. what was this flagmans name? Can anyone see the people in the judges stand.. the announcer? Neil something maybe? He was a real loud boisterous announcer, I wanna say maybe he was a local radio station dj?

1430 AM is no longer old country, just old. You can now occasionally hear Davey Lee on 1190 AM KQQZ. They play the older country. Anyhow, Great old pics, Got any of Dean Shirley?
 
George Depper announced at TCS up till around 2005. He was part of the Steve & DC show for a long time.

I though he was on the Frank O. Pinion show too when it was on KIX 106.5? They used to call him George "The Medium Sized" Depper.
 
if george depper was the announcer till '2005, then when did doug jenkins anounce? i remember him announcing when i ran a micro there in '01. i am somewhat confused. yes, mutt, i am getting old, but you ARE old, and have been for some time now.!!!

and your point is I think depper was a side kick announcer I didn't make over there much during that time period
