DOE RUN, MO--(October 16, 2002) There will be a new kid on the block in 2003 at Doe Run Raceway.

Joining the ever popular classes of 600cc Multi, Mini Stock, Dwarf, Stock and Super Stock Karts will be the Pro-Mod class. According to Raceway promoter Bob Johnson, the Pro-Mods are equipped with 4 cylinder engines, but unlike their Mini Stock counterparts, Pro-Mods will be able to have bodies resembling Late Models and Modified racecars, along with other modifications to the engine, etc.

The Dwarf car class will also have a body style called a Modified Lite that resembles a DIRT or IMCA modified, but must run a motorcycle engine. The Modified Lites will compete with the Classic Dwarf Cars that were at the Raceway in 2002.

Complete rules and specifications are available by logging on to www.doerunraceway.com. Rulebooks will also be handed out at the awards banquet on October 26th.
