Doesn't get any better than Champ cars on a mile dirt track!

On Sunday, August 31st, the USAC Silver Crown cars will compete in the "Ted Horn Memorial" 100 at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds. Sunday will consist of USAC practice at 9:00 a.m., Modified practice at 10:00 a.m., USAC Silver Crown qualifying at 11:00 a.m., Preliminary races are scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m., and the "Ted Horn Memorial" 100 USAC Silver Crown feature is set to begin at 1:30 p.m. Last years USAC Silver Crown feature winner was J.J. Yeley.

On Monday, September 1st, the ARCA Car Series will compete in the "Southern Illinois 100". The UMP Modifieds will also be running their feature event. The day will consist of ARCA practice at 9:00 a.m., Modified heats at 10:30 a.m.; Time trials for the ARCA Cars will be at 11:00 a.m. with the preliminary races at 12:30 p.m. Last years ARCA winner was Frank Kimmel. The 2002 UMP Modified feature winner was Brian Shaw.
