Brian Shaw

Brian Shaw is the only 4 time winner. He was driving the Pierce Scorpion owned by Jeff and Kathy Masson.

we go to duquoin every year for the whole weekend and was just wondering why no st. louis area regulars come to run the modified event on the mile.I was just wondering, would love to see some try it.

Kudos to Jesse Snyder, one heck of a run and had it not been for the contact on front straight away with Shaw, I think he would of won it. Was a great race to watch the two out front.

snyder should have won

Jesse Snyder sis everything he could short of wrecking the "King of Blocking" Shaw. It was obvious that Snyder had the car to beat caming from 9th starting spot to give Shaw everything we had. Kudos to Snyder for racing clean and accepting 2nd the right way and not taking first by wrecking someone. I wonder if the same would have held true if the roles would have been reversed?????

I had fully intended to go to DuQuoin this weekend. The weather had me changing plans I went to Fairbury on Saturday. Had intended on going to DuQuoin on Sunday but when they cancelled we decided to go to Quad City. We got home from Quad City sometime in the early morning hours and I just didn't have it in me to get up and go to DuQuoin Monday morning.

Here is a pic from Alan Rogers...

shaw won

shaws car was fast very fast and as the cautions kept coming out and the race went on his car got tighter and tighter and when snyder was behind him snyder knew it was tight. Shaw had the wheel cranked left and thats when he hit jesse it was cause she is a dirty driver or anything like that he was just driving the car and they(brian and jesse) talked about it after the race and snyder said he wasnt lettin up until shaw did so really shaw wasnt driving bad or doing anything wrong besides driving his car. and shaw was driving that car pretty deep into one and two and snyder said he had some guts for doing that cause snyder didnt want to do that. snyder has became a very good driver and he has learned alot from shaw their friends and they finished 1,2. so give shaw the credit he deserves for becoming the first 4 time winner there
