This Saturday August 30th don't miss the ground pounding, wheel standing action of O''Reilly POWRi Presented by Lucas Oil National Midgets and 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprint Racing as the series returns to action in the Southern Illinois Center at the DuQuoin State Fair Grounds.

Midget series point leader Brett Anderson from Belleville, IL will be looking for his first win at the beautiful Southern Illinois Center in front of the large crowd expected for the fair event. Anderson holds a 390 point lead over defending series champ Brad Loyet of Sunset Hills, MO in the chase for the championship. Third place in the standings is Zach Daum of Pocahontas, IL and he will be looking to gain ground in the title chase as well. Nick Knepper of Belleville, IL and Daniel Robinson of Wayne City are both seeking their first victories of the season as they are both looking to improve their top ten positions in the standings.

The 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprints will bring its large contingent to Duquoin lead by series point leader and 2007 Champion Derek King of Vienna, IL. King is looking to extend his point lead over Ryan Guyett of Springfield, IL, Brad McDaniel of nearby Carbondale, Ryan Langston of Greenfield, IN and Austin Brown of Millstadt, IL. Midget standout, Tim Siner of Dupo, IL will make his debut in the Micro Sprint series driving the Ted Kirkpatrick/Edward Jones sponsored micro. Siner will be doing double duty competing in the midgets and micros along with King and Tony Roney of Herculaneum, MO as well as Austin Brown who has two POWRi Micro feature victories this season.

So make your way to the Southern Illinois Center off Route 14 in DuQuoin this Saturday... Doors open Saturday at 4pm with Racing at 6pm and General admission tickets are ten dollars and kids 6 and under are free...O'Reilly POWRi Racing... BE THERE!!!!!!
