:mad: I just got a phone call that Ed Dixon will not be racing friday night nor saturday and sunday :( .. Its a shame he is not racing friday or saturday.. I was told he is running a crate late model this weekend.. Good luck this weekend we will miss you
 
He's running Eric Rudds crate car at Malden and Poplar Bluff for 1200 to win, 200 to start with the Fastrackers. What if Ed puts a crate motor in one of his cars next year and goes to all the $1000 to win on up shows, which there are tons. Thats quite a statement that he'd rather go run a crate car than run the 100 lapper.
 
I saw his rig heading south on 55 as I was coming to work. I thought he might be headed down Malden way.

I wasn't at I-55 last week, but I thought I read that he had some motor problems or something on that night, could it be he just doesn't currently have a SLM to run so he is going this route??
 
Anytime he wants it the #16 allen car is there for him. Sure seems like it anyway. Blowing 30 plus thousand dollars all the time sure would get old fast.
 
If I'm not mistaken, that's the first Baker motor he's blown this year. Better than the 5 plus he blew last year. Geez!!!

Guess I'll have to stop by the house and change shirts!! Hmmm...darn, what should I wear? Guess it'll have to be the Tri-Track Challenge shirt, since I don't have a MARS regular shirt, and Weaver isn't going to Pevely, last I seen.
 
im sure if ed would of spent his sponsor money wisely instead of partying it up all the time he would have a spare motor .......but thats not the case i heard his sponsor is really imbarressed over the mishap .

Just to set the record straight........Ed is tiring to qualify for a big crate race...so that's why is didn't run Belle-Claire or Pevely second the 16A is a he's disposal at anytime thirdly he has a brand new car sitting at the shop HOWEVER, he's blown engine is back (it was time for refresh anyhow). Lastly if Ed is partying....IT'S NONE OF OUR BUSINESS THAT'S HE'S PERSONAL LIFE WE SHOULD BE CONCERN ABOUT RACING ONLY!!!!
 
Yea, if he wants to party and mess around with other women, let him be. It has only effected him a little bit since he has been doing that. ;) $$$$$$ :D

I guess you party all you want when you have a sponsor that buys his beer. :rolleyes: Besides it's not like he does not stay till the last person is there most of the time. And I for one snag a beer from time to time from him. WoW now I am partially responsibe for Ed going money racing and blowing all his money. As for the messing around with other woman post and partying it up that is uncalled for. At least we know he can still get some as to maybe you that can't :rolleyes: I tell you what jealous streak I see here. As for personal lives these guys have it does not effect you. I hate you guys that waltz in here and make accusations about people. These drivers go out everyweek and race with their sponsor money and their own monies just so some wise A S S can come on here and say whatever they think they heard as the gospel and choose to spread that word as to the REAL GOSPEL the Good Lord intended us to spread. :rolleyes:
This is the one thing that really pisses me off more than anything else is the accusations and personal attacks on any driver by someone with PENIS envy....... :rolleyes:
Now what are you guys names so we can get the low down on you and your personal life so we can write about you on a public forumn as well you know just because we can.... I don't care who it is. Leave the personal bull S H I T out of it...

Ed is getting in his races to qualify for the Fastrak National Championship in October.

Ed ran 7th Friday night at Maldin and won Sat night at Poplar Bluff. Looks like he is getting a handle on the 4 bar cars.
He was a very competitive racer all weekend, very fair to the people around him on the track and very much cooperative with the Fastrak Officials at all times.

We are glad to see Ed is running with Fastrak as we are all of our competitors.
