The most anticipated weekend of the year is finally here, so get ready for Central Illinois racing at its very best. Fans will be treated to racing with horsepower ranging from 4 cylinder engines to the thunderous engines of the ARCA Remax Car Series. Friday, August 21-Macon Speedway will host the POWRi Midgets and Micros plus our UMP Modified division. Gates will open at 5 pm with the racing action kicking off at 7pm. Tickets are $15 for adults and children 12 & under are free.
Saturday, August 22- Track Enterprises will bring the USAC Silver Crown Series to the Illinois State Fairgrounds for the Tony Bettenhausen 100. See 100 laps of open wheel racing at its best! Grandstands open at 8:30 am, the feature will begin at 1 pm. Grandstand tickets the day of the event are $25 for adults and children 12 & under are $10. Bring your lawn chairs and grill and spend the afternoon with family and friends in the infield. Infield tickets are $20 for adults and children 12 & under are $5.
Saturday, August 22- Macon Speedway will be ready to welcome the fans back to Macon Speedway by hosting another exciting Saturday night of racing. The UMP Modifieds will be back racing to try and win a bonus for the weekend’s racing action, plus the UMP Street Stocks and Pro and Amateur Hornets and POWRi Micros will be back in action. Gates will open at 5 with the racing action kicking off at 7pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and children 12 & under are free.
Sunday, August 23- Track Enterprises will bring the ARCA Remax Series and the UMP Sportsman to the Illinois State Fairgrounds for the running of the Allen Crowe Memorial and the Sportsman Nationals. Don’t miss NASCAR star Ken Schrader as he will be racing in the ARCA Remax Series race on Sunday. Grandstand tickets the day of the event are $25 for adults and children 12 & under are $10. Infield tickets are $20 for adults and children 12 & under are $5.
