F & M Summer Shootout at Thomas County July 30-31

COLBY, Kan. (July 27) – IMCA Modifieds headline both nights of the F & M Insurance Summer Shootout at Thomas County Speedway this weekend.
Top prize in the Friday, July 30 show is $750 while the winner of the Saturday, July 31 feature earns $1,500 and a spot on the 2011 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.
All applicable points will be awarded for each show; both are also Larry Shaw Racing Blood, Sweat and Tears Kansas Series races.
IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Hobby Stocks and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods are also on the Saturday card. Stocks run for $1,000 to win, the Hobbies and Northern SportMods both in $500 to win features.
Gates open at 3 p.m., hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. on Friday. Gates open at 3 p.m., hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Saturday. The grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. both days.
