The Farmer City Raceway, Farmer City, Illinois has an exciting night of racing scheduled for this Friday night, May 2nd. This Friday night includes UMP Late Models, UMP Modified, Street Stock and the Hornets will make their 2003 season debut. The Late Models will move to the the Vermilion County Speedway this Sunday night.
This Friday is Scout Night at the Farmer City Raceway, all scouts wearing their uniforms will be honored. We welcome the scouts, troop/pack leaders and parents to come out and enjoy the racing action.
Gates open at 5:00 p.m., qualifying starts at 7:00 p.m. and the racing action gets started at 7:30 p.m. Adult ticket prices are $10.00. Children 11 & under are free.
Upcoming special events to be held at the Farmer City Raceway include the World Of Outlaws on a Thursday night this year, May 8th, tickets are now on sale, for more information or your reserved seats, you can call 217-764-3200.
*Just a note to all of the fans and drivers alike watching for the point standings. We are implementing a new system this season that we are sure everyone enjoy. It will list all drivers, home towns, point standings, race results and various other interests about the races. Please be patient and hopefully I will have all of the points on the system by the end of the week. Check out the website under results and the Sportsman division has the last two weeks of racing complete. We are sure that you will like this process of point standings better and let us know your thoughts.
