Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 adds transponders & scoreboard for 2012

Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 will be getting transponders along with a new 5 position scoreboard for the 2012 season!

Mike Steube (RealRaceFan) is also being brought on board to operate and oversee the transponder system. Mike works with the transponders at Tri-City as well.

Great news, this should make Federated events smoother with less down time. The scoreboard is fantastic news
I know Tri has one but hasn't used & thought it was such a waste. When they are not giving times, maybe the could run ads to increase track revenue on the screen, more revenue for the tracks is also good news for the
fans.

The scoreboard at Federated Auto Parts Raceway will be built high enough so that next winter they will have a message board installed under it.

There is also going to be a new large lighted track sign installed on the back of the tower suites facing the interstate... You will know your driving past Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 when you are driving down Interstate 55!!!
