Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I 55 is proud to announce that in 2014 that they will be paying the UMP Modifieds $700 to win and $100 to start at the weekly shows.

The UMP Modifieds always provide one of the most exciting racing events each night.

you should see what warrensburg pays... 1000 to win 160 to start. good pay all positions down to 24th

they will run ulma late models about 5 or 6 times. nights when lucas oil does not run ulma. they used tu run ulma as a regular class before they closed for a couple years. now with moberly and lucas running ulma as reg class warrensburg thought 3 tracks was too much for ulma on the same night.

They aren't paying ULMA $1200 to win though..

never said they did. a limited late model class at lucas and warrensburg will pay better then crates but not as much as supers, which is the way it should be. they just pay better down to 10th or 12th then some tracks making it better for all. we avg about 20 cars at lucas with some nights up to 30. its a highly competitive class with some ulma cars running with mlra and mlra running with us. crates are more popular on the east side then west side of the state for some reason, we have a good series and hope it continues to grow.

It is good that cms is doing that for mods which they consider their top class. The point is, tracks in this area already have one class they are paying that kind of purse to.

i see your point, and it is valid.its interesting to see the difference between one side of the state and the other side. we live in st. charles but race out west because of various reasons and logistics its just nice to see tracks like cms re-opening and montgomery trying again this year, hope they do well. moberly had a decent first year so hope they continue on. the owners there seem ready to make it work.
