Eldora’s Dirt Late Model Stream Up Next


MT. HOLLY, N.C. (06/02/20) –Chris Ferguson drove his Diff-Tran Machining No. 22 K and K Trucking/ Live Oak Aesthetic and Family Dentistry Super Late Model to Victory Lane for the first time in 2020 on Saturday night at Cherokee Speedway.

Ferguson streaked to the Ultimate Southeast Series victory in The Big Chief 40, capturing a $5,000 payday for the triumph.


“The Lord blessed us with this win and man, does it feel good,” Ferguson commented. “We had a phenomenal Team Zero Race Car and was able to make a pass on the outside to get it done. Thank you to my family, crew, God, and all of our sponsors!”

With the Top 5 qualifiers from each group getting locked into the A-Main, Ferguson laid down the second fastest time in his group behind Zack Mitchell. Starting in fourth, Ferguson overtook polesitter Brett Hamm on lap 13 and held off Michael Brown in the remaining distance to capture the win. Brown, Kyle Hardy, Anthony Sanders, and Brett Hamm trailed him to the checkers in the 40-lap affair.

This upcoming weekend – June 4-6 – will find Ferguson returning to the legendary Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The Dirt Late Model Stream Invitational will kick off with preliminary programs on Thursday and Friday headlined by 30-lap, $10,000-to-win events. Saturday’s finale will culminate with a $50,000-to-win feature. The fan-free event will be broadcasted live on FloRacing.
