Well, ya see Auntie....when my son and the previous owner of the car had it...it ran like a bat outta H*!!.....BUT...... now I have it. And to be honest I'm still learning what power it has. My old car was a automatic Cavilier....now I get this neon, and it's a BIG difference...and on top of that....the dog-gone thing has NO power steering. So the ol' biceps are getting a real work out...lol! But hey... if it takes a FORD to win...find me one!....I'm game! I am kinda proud though, I used to bring up the rear in EVERY heat and Feature just about last season. This year I've moved up to a consistant 3rd in the heats at Pevely. Pevely is where I learned to race at and am kinda partial to the high banks, finally got the turnin' figured out...and now I finally have the nerve to push it to the floor on the straigh-a-way's. Give me another few races, and hopefully I'll get to carry the checkered just like kids and hubby have done! But time will tell. Until I started racing, that's all I ever owned as street autos was Fords! (They Rock in my book) All our company trucks are Fords! ( I have to fess up tho..I drive a Chrys. Crossfire Roadster 6 speed now.) Sure wish i had the chance to take it to "Midnight Madness"...but Pop's won't let me...LOL But I'll talk to Pop and see if maybe there's a Ford in my future for next season!! LOL!:D

sprintcar points??

hey guys just wondering if sprintcar points were going to come into play?? it would be a good idea i think.. and wingless isnt a really good idea for me personaly im a rookie driver but i have seen what happens when wings come off.. its fun to watch but if you dont have a catch fence or speedy safety crew things can go from exciting to horrifing.. maybe at the end of the year put up some bigger coin and people will come. wingless usually pays more... if you want to get a hold of me about ideas or anything let me know.. ill tow the 3 hours if your as dedicated as e and my boys are... fredrock is a great track and has a good variety of food. ever thought of having a fan night?? i know if you get the word out people will come have an autograph session during intermission infront of the stands either on the track or just set up tables and chairs by the flag stand.. its a good oppertunity to get the fans,the community and future drivers pumped up about the sport we love.. message me if you have any questions. can i get a complete schedual of 305 races?? please :)
 
Thank you joegerber! Fan appreciation night is scheduled for August 14th. Also, we are working on the schedule for the 305s. I know they will be here throughout the month of June and will have more dates after that. Will let you know as soon as I do.
