From a fans point of view, what changes would you like to see at I-55 raceway next year?

and speed up the ticket windows ...there will be two long lines and there is at least one other ticket window isnt there ?...i understand sometimes you may have to wait a few minutes, but every week you do at i-55...cant they see whats goin on and maybe slide another employee over ther to open another window for a little while ?..seems strange that i've never ever had to wait at T-city, you get your ticket and walk in...voila !...

Increase the size of the pit area that's outside of the track and arrange it more efficiently so that if it rains a little they don't have to call off the race because the center of the track is a quagmire.

Don't pit anyone in the infield. Have two or three classes at a time lined up on the infield. Since they are adding another class to the show I see more time to work on your race car and get back to the infield on time. Have 2 or 3 double points nights to draw the drivers in.

After a little more thought, I would have to say the one thing I-55 is lacking that we really miss is a scoreboard. You really need to pay attention, especially with the late models to keep track of lapped cars and position changes. Places like Wheatland and Knoxville - and Lake Ozark - can really spoil you.

I love the infield parking. I can watch the races and Bruce & Jimmy work on the car at the same time, all while I'm eating my delicious ice cream drumstick! It loses something when there are no cars in the infield!!! What in the world do you watch during a caution if the infield is empty?

I agree. the cars are in the infield are great to watch before and during the races. Always action going on to keep your interest. Wish Belleville and Tri City would do it again like the good old days.

kingeddy, don't get me riled up....I'm too excited about that grandbaby coming soon to care about chasing Jack-o right now. He's scared of me anyway.

Another idea which wouldn't cost much to implement would be to do some sort of streaming via the internet of a live leaderboard, lineups etc. People with smart phones would instantly know what's happening etc while sitting in the bleachers or in the pit area. Heck with a few AP's and a decent internet connection they could even make I-55 wifi!

Fireworks and large flame machines when someone wins. Works for the Lucas Oil offroad and Supercross stuff...kids love it.
