Kyle Jonathan Roberts, age 28 of Sorento, IL, died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, MO.
He was born on Tuesday, August 28, 1984, in Maryville, IL, the son of Tracy J. Roberts and Laurie A. (nee Wernle) Vosholler.
He was a member of Woodmen of the World - Highland Camp 105; United Steel Workers Local 1893.
Kyle was born at Maryville, IL; grew up at Alhambra/New Douglas/Stolletown areas. He was a graduate of Greenville High School in 2002. He had lived at Old Ripley since 1994. After graduation he started working at Amsted Rail in Granite City, IL.He enjoyed racing, driving cars #74 and #47 at Highland, Brownstown and Belleville Speedways. He loved the St. Louis Blues and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. He enjoyed fishing. He just started playing the game of golf.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, and from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, with Rev. Jerry Amiri, Pastor, Alhambra, IL, officiating.
Interment will be at Brown Cemetery in Old Ripley, IL.
