The Kyle Busch Show continued Sunday as he took the checkered flag at Dover International Speedway. Busch, who may be coming to Gateway International Raceway July 19 for the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250, put on a clinic in the last segment of the race, showing both patience and maturity. Former GIR winners Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle finished second and third, respectively, with 2004 Gateway winner Martin Truex coming in sixth. Joplin, Mo.-native Jamie McMurray rounded out the top-ten. McMurray, who got his start in NASCAR with the Foristell, Mo.-based NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team MB Motorsports, is returning to Gateway International Raceway with the NASCAR Nationwide Series on July 19. It will be his first race here since he finished eighth here in 2002.

Former GIR pole winner Denny Hamlin took the victory in Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide Series race, but it was teen phenom Joey Logano who had the media dogging his every step. The 18-year-old racer made his NNS debut this past weekend and made it count, finishing sixth. Logano will join an impressive list of drivers that includes Carl Edwards, David Ragan, David Reutimann, Clint Bowyer, Jamie McMurray, and defending GIR NNS winner Reed Sorenson participating in the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250. Defending NNS champion Carl Edwards was the runner-up in Saturday's rain-delayed event at Dover, with Rusty Wallace Inc., driver David Stremme finishing third. St. Louis native Mike Wallace finished eighth and Kasey Kahne, driving the #9 Dodge that will be driven by Chase Miller and sponsored by the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers here July 19, brought it across the stripe in tenth.

It was another first-time winner in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series action Friday at Dover. Former Formula 1 racer and current full-time ARCA driver Scott Speed took home an impressive win over Ron Hornday and Jack Sprague thanks to a strong truck and a Friday-afternoon French pedicure. Charlotte winner Matt Crafton finished fifth with 2005 GIR winner David Starr finishing sixth, Roush-Fenway Racing's rookie driver Colin Braun finishing eighth and defending Gateway NCTS winner Johnny Benson finishing tenth. Gateway was at Dover this past weekend filming its new NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series commercials featuring Chrissy Wallace, Ray Evernham, Joey Logano, and more! The spots are set to air in the coming weeks and be sure to check out GatewayRaceway.com for some commerical-related contests.

The NHRA POWERade Series' Year of the Woman continued at Topkea with Top Fuel driver Hillary Will earning her first Wally with a win over former NHRA champion Larry Dixon. Making bigger headlines, though, was John Force's win over defending GIR Funny Car winner and FC points leader Tim Wilkerson. It was the 14-time Funny Car champion's 126th-career win and the first since his horrific wreck in Texas late last year. In Pro Stock, Ron Krisher picked up his sixth-career finals win when he topped Larry Morgan. Tony Schumacher and Wilkerson maintain their points lead in Top Fuel and Funny Car, respectively, while 2008 GIR winner Kurt Johnson took over the top spot in Pro Stock.

Gateway International Raceway is hosting SPEED's PINKS: All Out June 27-28, the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series event July 19, and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and ASA Late Model Series Sept. 6.
