Kyle Busch continues to amaze the racing community, this weekend courtesy of a win at his home track of Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Busch, along with his brother Kurt, started on the front row but Kyle had to start from the rear due to an engine change. He survived a challenging event to take his first Sprint Cup Series race of the 2009 season. "Shrub" returns Gateway International Raceway July 18 for the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250, where he has two top-tens in two previous starts. Also finishing in the top-ten Sunday were two-time GIR winner Greg Biffle (seventh), 2008 Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 polesitter Jamie McMurray (ninth), and two-time NNS champ and GIR winner Dale Earnhardt Jr. (tenth).

It was a race of attrition Saturday in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event at LVMS, but Greg Biffle, the only driver to win both the NNS and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races at GIR, returned to Victory Lane for the first time in 76 Nationwide starts. Finishing in the runner-up spot was his Roush Fenway Racing teammate and fellow Gateway winner Carl Edwards. The big story was the finish of the NNS rookies with Michael McDowell (sixth), former GIR Truck Series winner Brendan Gaughan (seventh), 2008 ARCA champion and Springfield, Ill., native Justin Allgaier (eighth), and Scott Lagasse Jr., (ninth) all finishing in the top-ten after a strong day of racing.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series had the weekend off, but returns to action this weekend, along with the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series, at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Kyle Busch is the defending race winner of this event and joins former Camping World 200 winning team owner Kevin Harvick as drivers doing triple duty this weekend.

The NHRA Full Throttle Series returns to action March 12-15 for the NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, Fla. Fans can catch all the action from this legendary event on ESPN2.
