For the past three NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races, it's been a Busch in Victory Lane. Kyle, who is returning to Gateway International Raceway July 18 for the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250, won his second Cup race in the last three events by dominating at Bristol Motor Speedway Sunday. His brother Kurt, winner of the race at Atlanta, finished 11th. Former GIR pole winner Denny Hamlin took runner-up honors while the driver of the Budweiser Dodge, Kasey Kahne, finished fifth and Ryan Newman, a former USAC Silver Crown winner at Gateway, earned a seventh-place finish. The Sprint Cup Series, along with the Camping World Truck Series, heads to Martinsville Speedway this weekend. Be sure to catch the Truck Series on FOX Saturday afternoon.

After two weeks off, the NASCAR Nationwide Series returned to action as two-time Gateway winner Kevin Harvick finished the day with a trip to Victory Lane. Making the trip even sweeter was the fact it was the first time the 2007 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion team owner won a Nationwide Series race with his own team, Kevin Harvick Inc. Fellow two-time GIR NNS winner Carl Edwards finished second and Springfield, Ill., native and 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series champ Justin Allgaier earned his first-ever NNS top-five Saturday with his fifth-place finish. Kyle Busch suffered a late-race penalty and was relegated to a sixth-place effort while Steve Wallace, son of 1989 NASCAR Cup Series champ and St. Louis native Rusty Wallace, finished seventh. Wallace's teammate, 2003 GIR Truck Series winner Brendan Gaughan was the polesitter for this race.

The NHRA Full Throttle Series took the weekend off after the Gatornationals and heads to Houston Raceway Park this weekend with more great drag racing action. Defending winners at the NHRA Spring Nationals are Del Worsham (Funny Car), Antron Brown (Top Fuel), Greg Anderson (Pro Stock), and Matt Smith (Pro Stock Motorcycle). Race fans can catch all the action on ESPN2 and visit GatewayRaceway.com for wrap-ups Friday-Sunday.
