Geno Kalb crowned 4 Cylinder Dirt Track World Champion at the Mighty Macon Speedway!

An all time record car count of 147 cars invaded the Mighty MACON SPEEDWAY on Saturday Sept. 24th for the 2nd Annual 4 Cylinder Dirt Track World Championship! This was the highest single night car count in the history of the Midwest speedplant!

A heartfelt THANK YOU from MIDWEST SPEED, Inc., organizer of the event, to all those drivers and fans who despite high priced gas and threatening weather made the trek to be a part of the season ending extravaganza!

Four first time Midwest Speed Extravaganza winners were crowned at the 2nd Annual 4 Cylinder DIrt Track World Championship with Geno Kalb of Peoria taking the honors along with the 7' winners trophy and the $1,000 paycheck for his efforts, besting a field of 68 cars in the process!
