Give me your ideas for who should be "DRIVER of the YEAR"

my vote would be

My vote would have to be mike harrison he is an all around nice guy on and off the track and he would give anyone the shirt off his back to help someone in need i love you mikey <3

I would vote for Mike Harrison, Michael Long, or Jeremy Hines.

Hines won 15 sportsman features this year at 5 different tracks, which is kind of rare for a sportsman guy to win at 5 different tracks in one year, won his 2nd UMP Sportsman national championship and his 4th Sportsman championship at Bloomington Speedway. He also won 3 crate late model features this year and finished 2nd in Super Late Model points at Brownstown Speedway.

Ru kidding? Not to start a debate but I wouldn't even begin to give the nod to a guy based on his
results in a sportsman car that races crates and supers on a regular basis. JMO

well here is mine in pro late models def griffin
super latemodel b shep
modified give that to rusty griffaw
sportman herzog streetstock would have to say buss
pro 4 would have to be shure number 26

hard lefts: jeremy hines has been racing sportsman cars for as long as i know him, he is trying to work his way into the late model division, but up until this year still owned 2 sportsman cars. you are clearly ignorant. the point of this thread is to nominate drivers that had a good year, not down-play the drivers that other people nominated.

Thanks for filling me in.lol I mean no disrespect to JH or any other racer. I'm fully aware of how hard it is. I've just always perceived the sportsman class as a beginner to intermediate stepping stone class and don't agree with guys making a home there and even building mutiple cars and guys who have raced at higher and faster levels regressing to race a sportsman car. Again, just my opinion.
