go king kong korte

racinfri is very talented ! He can give personal service to Korte and post on stlracing at the same time ?

BTW McGrew ,what did Randy have for diner ?

people, myself included feel that korte should not of been able to run the late model race, because even though he did not throw a punch, one of crew members was involved in the helmet throwing. the rule has always been that the driver is responsible for his crews actions as well and since that crew member was removed from the track, korte should of been punished as well for his crews actions. meaning he would be done for the night and not allowed to race in the feature.

maybe i'm wrong but does this rule apply even if the driver is running 2 classes? or the officials had to "deliberate" on the incident to come up with a decision? what officials really saw anything by the time they arrived on the scene? with all the people there i really doubt any allied officials saw what actually happened. though they can speculate they cant say the who what where when of the whole "deal"

Nope not that Lumpy.

I think the Lumpy he was talking about was on Jim Durbin's pit crew, #3. He may have even been Jim's brother. The Lumpy that drove #4 was Lumpy Loughary who now runs Performance Motor Sports in Greenville.

The fact is, Randy Korte hasn't even had to replace much sheet metal this year on either car. QUOTE]

when your the one doing the hitting your car usually isnt the one getting tore up. the car getting spun out is the one get his stuff tore up. jmo

Guys who spins others out get charged with cautions. He's been charged with maybe 2 all year. I'd say this late in the season, 2 is a very good number. Argue against that point.

I along with many others was standing right there, there were at least 5 officials there the whole time. One of them got hit with the helmet at one point. What difference would it make if he runs different classes? He should have been removed from the track due to the crew member actions and put on automatic suspension, not allowed to race anymore for the rest of the night and for at least a couple of weeks.

As long as they both get it, which will never happen.

If Korte did not take out Ray on purpose, then why did he say I should'nt have done that when he was apoligizing for it after the latemodel feature? Korte did apoligize, but he did not say it was accidental. He said I should'nt have done it, meaning that he intentionally took ray out.
