After a difficult start to the 2010 racing season which included bad luck on the racetrack and multiple rainouts, the #65 Goldesberry Motorsports team finally completed a night of racing this past Friday on a good note close to home at Jacksonville Speedway. 19 year old Jordan started tailback for his heat race and finished 7th. Starting 14th in the feature, the Springfield, IL native went rimriding with the Goldesberry Signs and Designs/Mothers Polishes/K & N Filters/Simpson Race Products/NGK Spark Plugs racer around the Morgan County bullring, salvaging a respectable top 10 result with an 8th place finish.

The team looks ahead to two more nights of racing this week. On Wednesday June 9th they'll head northwest to the Hawkeye State to compete with the 360 Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders at Donnellson, Iowa's Lee County Speedway. Friday night June 11th will find the bright yellow #65 back in 410 competition at Jacksonville.
