ok car wont go anywhere in 1st gear but will drive in high gear was wondering if maybe the clutch burnt out of what before I switch trans don't know if its a easy fix or not? I was able to drive the car in low gear before it seamed like it went out

Does it work in reverse?

Try to bleed the clutch line really good before you go any farther. They are really sensitive to any air in the line.

If it does need new clutches, there are several shops around that will rebuild it fairly reasonably (Boeser, Voigt, Chubby, etc). Or maybe someone else will chime in with some advice on doing it yourself. I've never trusted myself enough to dive into one since it is pretty cheap to have one of the experts do it.
