Have to ask---

I have been visiting this site for a couple of years---but I have seen a couple of things in the past week and I just have to ask---

Last week in the classified section--Scott Weber has racecars and trailer for sale?

Today in the classifieds---Dean Hoffman states that he has all racing stuff related stuff including cars for sale??

Are we about to loose two of the better Modified drivers in the area? :(

I hope not!

Sometimes you have to sell all of your old stuff before you can get new stuff. Or, you bought new stuff and didn't like it so you need to sell that stuff to get newer stuff.

I would hate to see either driver retire from the sport.

Rumor has it, he (Dean) caught on with a NASCAR truck and Busch team.

WOW!

As a driver? Crew member? Engine builder? Either way---how exciting!

But he would be missed---he is an awesome driver!

That makes sense about Dean because his brother Darrell is already involved with the big league down south.

If Dean goes south does that mean we get Dan "THE MAN" Hoffman back???????????

From what I've heard, Weber is getting another trailer. So it doesn't sound like he's quiting. Maybe hes got plans for another class? Who knows?

Weber Sold His Brand New Car After 1 Weekend With It, And The Trailer. The Shaw Car Is Still For Sale, And He's Selling That 3p Sportsman He Acquired. Now Does He Have Something Up His Sleeve He's Suprising Us With? Cause I Hate To See Him Leave, But Would Like To See Him Move Up Too.

That makes sense---hadn't thought about it that way!

And if Dean is headed to Nascar-land---good luck to him and his family. I know that I will miss seeing him at the different tracks!

Thanks!:D

Talked to Dean at Belle Clair tonight. He is headed south to work with his brother on engines, big engines. He said he'll be around for a few more months.

He swept the modified field tonight.

Like pitdrifter said scotty says every thing is for sale.HE didnot sell his trailer he has a bent axle on it and it will be back in a couple of weeks.

I stand corrected he sold everything including the trailer.as of right now he has no racecars or trailers.

Does anyone know what the 4j team will be doing? Are they getting a new Modified or are they moving up to a latemodel?

Straight From The Source!

SCOTT TOLD ME LAST NIGHT, HE HAS BEEN IN NEGOTIATIONS WITH A NEW UP START LATE MODEL CHASSIS BUILDER IN MISSISSIPPI. FROM THE WAY HE TALKED HE'LL BE DRIVING HOUSE CARS FOR THEM. FROM WHAT HE SAID IT IS A MINORITY OWNED CHASSIS MANUFACTURER. SCOTT WILL BE THE FIRST TO RUN ONE OF THEIR CARS. SEEMS THEY HAVE DESIGNED IT OFF SOME MASTERSBUILT AND GRT IDEAS. KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THE NEW "MASTER G" CHASSIS COMING SOON!

This is where I say, "racing has changed so much", you have a lot of great MOD drivers, Hoffmann and Weber are not the best two, probably the only two you know. I do wish Hoffmann luck what ever he does. Just remember, there is alot of drivers out there and just to say, "two of the best" is so wrong. I do not know what has happen to racing in the last couple of years, but it sure was not nothing like this years ago. All fans do know is talk about other drivers and their crews, that is so WRONG. Just go have fun and be happy for all drivers.

Modified dash at pevely

How about that modified dash race at pevely last night? That is some of the best racing I have seen, and no accidents just great driving! The fans around where I was sitting couldn't stop talking about that race.
