Heidi started the evening by piloting the #15 to a heat race win. She started in the 5th position and worked her way up to 2nd. On the last lap, she passed the 7 car for the win.
Heidi started on the pole for the feature. After the green flag, she would lead all laps of the race and take home the checkered with a full straightaway lead.
This is Heidi's first feature win since graduating from the amatuer class in 2009. Heidi Hames has announced that she will donate all her winnings to the Phil Sargent High School Hornets Scholarship at Macon Speedway. She is challenging all Pro Hornet racers to do the same.
