Inside Line Promotions - FINDLAY, Ohio (Oct. 4, 2016) - Caleb Helms is venturing to Eldora Speedway on Saturday for the final time this season.
Helms will join the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions as the series invades the UNOH Sprintacular at the half-mile oval near Rossburg, Ohio, which is located just over an hour and a half from Helms Racing headquarters. Saturday marks his fourth trip with the All Star series and seventh visit overall to 'The World's Greatest Dirt Track' in 2016.
"Eldora is definitely a unique track and one of the premier tracks in the country," Helms said. "The shape and banking of it make for fun racing that puts you right on the edge every lap."
Helms recorded a season-best result at the high-banked track of 15[sup]th[/sup] earlier this year.
"In order to be fast around this place you have to be right against the wall all the way around the track and that's what I like about it," he said.
Helms recorded a heat race win at the 4-Crown Nationals two weeks ago at Eldora Speedway and he now has his sights set on a top-10 finish this weekend.
"We hope to get dialed in quickly coming right out of hot laps and have a good qualifying effort to put us up front for the feature," he said.
