Daryl Herbert would use a late race move to best Scott Kincaid in the U.S. Race Gear Cincinnati Modified Championship presented by Gabbard's Mt. Orab Ford and B&B Auto Care 2011 season opener Saturday Night at Florence Speedway. Herbert would pick up $1000 for the win in a J car chassis. David Mcwilliams led early but Kincaid would take over and lead untill Herbert got to the front. Kincaid didn't give up easy as the two fought for the lead and made contact. 75 races remain remain on the CMC schedule. Moler Raceway Park is hoping to get dried out enough to get their season started this Friday March 25th. Moler Raceway Park saw Devin Gilpin claim 10 feature wins in 2010 on his way to the CMC championship, the Moler track championship and a 2nd in UMP National points. Doug Adkins and David Mcwilliams would claim 4 features each while Matt Hamilton would be the only other multiple race winner with 2 wins
Other upcoming events are a test and tune at Florence Speedway this coming Saturday the 26th. On July 2nd Gabbards Mt. Orab Ford will host a racing car show from 10-2. Lawrenceburg Speedway host a test and tune on April 2nd and gets down to buisness on April 9th. Brushcreek opens their season April 16th and will host their first CMC race on July 3rd.
