Highland apology

To all drivers who were in the first modified heat race at Highland Speedway tonigh, we wanted to apologize for the pile up on the start in turn one.

We found out later that we were having carburator issues and the car took off fine at the green, but it stumbled as we drove it down into one when we got back to the gas.

We wanted to also single out Bobby Bittle to give him a personel apology for him being caught up in it to the point of misssing the heat and having to go through the B to get in.

Those kind of things happen in racing. I think every racer has been in your type of situation early in their careers. Bittle has been around for a long time and I think he understands. Just keep working on your car every week and keep learning all you can and that day will come when we see you in victory lane and I will drop by in the pits to shake your hand.
